Dr. Curls for the Girls is a cash-pay, out-of-network practice. Every session is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy which means no aides, no double-booking, no rushing. HSA and FSA accepted. Out-of-network reimbursement is available through Thrizer.

Out-of-Network Insurance Coverage
We work with Thrizer to help you submit claims to your insurance directly. Many patients receive meaningful reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits.

Health savings and flexible spending accounts are accepted. Physical therapy is an eligible expense.

Do I need a referral?
No. California is a direct access state, so you can book a PT evaluation without a referral from your doctor.
Can I use my package sessions virtually?
Yes. Virtual sessions are available nationwide and can be mixed with in-office visits within your package.
What if I'm not sure which package is right for me?
Start with an appointment request. The intake process includes a brief questionnaire that helps us make sure you're matched to the right care.
How long do I have to use my package sessions?
All sessions are valid for 12 months from your first visit, so you have real flexibility as your body and schedule change throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Do you accept insurance directly?
Not as an in-network provider. We use Thrizer to help patients submit out-of-network claims, which can significantly offset the cost. Many patients are surprised how much their plan covers.
